Beware of Senior Scams

Beware of scams that prey on senior citizens when you search online. Some might ask for all your personal information. Be cautious and read the details of any online offer. When in doubt, contact the Better Business Bureau for help.
The BBB are serious about any complaints or issues you have with a company. This month I decided I was going to do a bankruptcy on my Student Loan. Well, after the guy signed me up for a Chapter 7 and I paid the money the next day I talked to someone else and was told that Chapter 7 bankruptcy doesn't cover discharging of Student Loans. So I went and contacted the company and they refused to give me my money back after talking to 3 ppl. Next step I took was the BBB and the BBB contacted them and I got my money, in full, returned. If you fall into a scam or find out that you were talked into something you didn't want and the company says no to a refund. Don't forget that the BBB is there for you.

Fibromyalgia and allergies to pain meds

With my Fibromyalgia I have been having more and more sensitivities and allergies. What's worse is that last week, at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith AK, they gave me Demoral of which I have never had any reaction to and have always used it for surgery and surgical procedures. Within 6 mins I broke out in hives and had a tightness in my chest. So add that one to my medicine allergy list and that makes 22. My worst are Latex, Morphine, Tylenol and Iodine/betadine. I go into anaphalaxis shock with the first three.

Today going to the pain doctor was such a fiasco since they are trying to determine what to give me for pain. We had to rule out all things with Tylenol shortening the list and then with Morphine further shortening the list. And all we came up with was Fenteyal patch at 12 mcg which is the only dosage they give for that.

I have had in the past trigger point injections and injections in my low back and hips with an xray that have really helped. However, this pain clinic doesn't do that yet. They keep saying they are going to have another doctor in the clinic who will be doing those things. All I can say is hurry it up. The PA felt my trigger points and felt how inflamed they were but just said she will add me to the top of the list for this new doctor that's joining their clinic. The nurse said maybe I should try CBD oil. That's an alternative but expensive.

It's not just medication allergies I have due to my Fibromyalgia. I also have allergies to soaps and that includes bath, dishwashing and laundry. I also can't wear clothing that is tight or that has tags as they also bother me. The only bras I wear or sports and only when I have to go to a doctor appt or an event. Otherwise at home I do without.

How many of you with Fibromyalgia also have allergies and to what?

One Two Cosmetics Full Coverage Lash - NOW AVAILABLE!

I have problems with my medications thinning my hair, my eyebrows and eyelashes have fallen out. All due to the meds I use for all my conditions including my Fibromyalgia, Menieres, Migraines, and many other conditions and meds I have used over the years. About ten years ago I had permanent eyebrows put on which have now faded. I came across this product, which I am not endorsing yet, and am interested in it. I have not purchased these yet. I think I would be able to put them on with my hands since they are magnetic. No glues or adhesives to be allergic to for me either. Just letting all the other people who suffer from hair on their bodies thinning or falling out. At least with lashes and my normal chapstick or lip gloss or lipstick I would feel better about myself. I will let you know more when I purchase them and use them how well they work. If  you have purchased and used these please let me know in the comments so I will know how well they work and if they work as easily as the video shows.
